Takeda and Merck

1. Takeda's award of attorney fees in the Actos case affirmed by CAFC. When the district court made this ruling two years ago, I couldn't believe it happened and certainly couldn't image it would get affirmed. Now I guess all generic firms need to be a little more careful in invalidating patents.

2. Merck going generic, biogeneric though.
